Nerja Beaches

Burriana Beach is by far the most popular beach in Nerja. It is a large beach with so many activities

one can enjoy, windsailing, paddleboats, volley ball, etc.. Along the walkways there are plenty

of restaurants to suit all tastes. Here you can sample Ayo's paella as he cooks it over

an open fire. This is an excellent beach to spend days and days soaking up the sun.

Torrecilla Beach is a very popular beach with holiday makers as it's big enough to accommodate many activities. There are paddle boats to hire, canoes, banana rides, windsailing all available from the beach front. Immediately behind the beach are a variety of bars and cafes offering everything from a cool beer

to a 3-course lunch. You can hire sun loungers also. A beach with plenty of atmosphere

El Salon Beach is another popular beach for many, gaining easy access from a pathway directly

at the Balcón de Europa in the heart of Nerja. There are a number of beach bars and cafes

along the beach. Plaza del Salon has one of the best sandiest beaches in the area.

You can walk along to Playa La Caletilla and round to the Balcón.

El Playazo Beach is a very good beach for those who like the meditation and the long walks

along the shore. Many enjoy windsurfing and sail-surfing along the sandy waters. There are

a few beach bars This beach has showers beach umbrellas and hammocks.

Calahonda Beach is directly at the East side of the Balcón de Europa in the heart of Nerja. This is one
of the most picturesque beaches and most photographed. Easily accessible from the Balcon with steps leading down to the beach. Fishermen still repair their nets and go fishing from this beach. You can
hire sun beds and parasols for shade, also their is a beach restaurant for drinks and snacks.
